La petite poule rousse trouve un grain de blé.
The little red hen finds a grain of wheat.
« Qui veut m'aider ? » — « Pas moi ! » dit le chat.
"Who wants to help me?" — "Not me!" says the cat.
« Pas moi ! » dit le chien. « Pas moi ! » dit le canard.
"Not me!" says the dog. "Not me!" says the duck.
La poule fait tout. Le pain sent très bon.
The hen does everything. The bread smells wonderful.
« Qui veut manger ? » — « Moi ! Moi ! Moi ! »
"Who wants to eat?" — "Me! Me! Me!"
